The R.I.O.T hip hop music and photo exhibition is a co-created fusion of music [audio] + photography [visual] storytelling highlighting the works of Detroit based women artists Insite The R.I.O.T and Rhiannon “Annon Art” Chester. The exhibition will kick off with a launch event serving as the album release for Insite The Riot’s third album, Girl Meets Beat and Rhiannon’s photo exhibit titled Chronicles of the R.I.O.T (Revolution in Our Thinking). The installation will exhibit raw images partnered with accompanying songs heard on headphones installed throughout the space, enabling visitors to experience each piece on multiple levels.
